Annual reports for the Alberta Capital Finance Authority (ACFA), which was a non-profit Corporation established under the Alberta Capital Finance Authority Act. The mission was to provide shareholders within the Province of Alberta with flexible funding for capital projects on a prudent basis consistent with the viability of the ACFA. The ACFA was dissolved in 2020 and its function continued through the Government of Alberta as the Loans to Local Authorities program.

Description

The mission of the Alberta Municipal Financing Corporation, a non-profit corporation established under the Alberta Municipal Financing Corporation Act, was to provide shareholders within the Province of Alberta with flexible funding for capital projects on a prudent basis. From 2003 on, the function continued through the Alberta Capital Finance Authority, which dissolved in 2020. The function was continued through the Government of Alberta as Loans to Local Authorities.
