One-page summaries of Alberta Education Assurance Measures 2023 results for each public, separate and francophone school authority. Each summary includes the current year results, as well as results for the previous year, a three-year rolling average, and provincial summary results for comparison. The Alberta Education Assurance Measures provide school boards with a consistent way to measure their success and assess progress using a broad spectrum of measures. Reporting results allows Albertans to see how their school authority is performing and ensures that the entire education system is open and accountable.

This document describes the administrative process and methodology used by Alberta Education to conduct and calculate the Alberta Education Assurance (AEA) survey results. As part of the Assurance Framework, Alberta Education surveys teachers, students and their parents/guardians to gather information on the quality of education provided by school authorities and their schools. Results are provided to each school and school authority to evaluate school and school authority performance on AEA survey measures, report in their annual education results reports and help them develop their education plans. Also included in this record are copies of the survey instruments.

One-page summaries of Alberta Education Assurance Measures 2021 results for each public, separate and francophone school authority. Each summary includes the current year results, as well as results for the previous year, a three-year rolling average, and provincial summary results for comparison. The Alberta Education Assurance Measures provide school boards with a consistent way to measure their success and assess progress using a broad spectrum of measures. Reporting results allows Albertans to see how their school authority is performing and ensures that the entire education system is open and accountable. Participation in the Alberta Education Assurance survey, provincial achievement tests (PATs) and diploma examinations were impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021.
