The objective of this handbook is to provide an overview of the instruments used in public land administration, under the authority of the Public Lands Act and pursuant to the Public Lands Administration Regulation. (PLAR) While all the instruments authorized under the Public Lands Act and PLAR are briefly discussed, the handbook is focused on the classification of dispositions and the type of dispositions issued.
