Record of decision of the Chief Medical Officer of Health outlining updated operational and outbreak standards for residential addiction treatment service providers. These standards are included in Appendix A. The intent of these standards is to help prevent the spread of infection while allowing individuals to continue to receive treatment and overcome their addiction. Note: this order revises CMOH Order 13-2020, by rescinding and replacing Appendix A. The screening tools included in Appendix B are no longer current. Up-to-date screening tools can be accessed under the Related tab.

Record of decision of the Chief Medical Officer of Health outlining updated operational and outbreak standards for residential addiction treatment service providers. These standards are included in Appendix A. The intent of these standards is to help prevent the spread of infection while allowing individuals to continue to receive treatment and overcome their addiction. Note: residential addiction treatment services facilities were removed from the scope of previous CMOH Orders 09-2020 and 10-2020. NOTE: this order and appendices were rescinded by CMOH order 27-2020.

Record of decision of the Chief Medical Officer of Health outlining updated requirements for health care facilities in Alberta, for the purpose of lessening the impact of the public health emergency caused by the prevalence of COVID-19 in Alberta. Note: Effective May 25, 2020, Part 2 of this order (Appendices A and B, operational and outbreak standards) has been amended by CMOH Order 23-2020. Also, residential addiction treatment service facilities are now covered in Order 13-2020. See the Related tab. Effective September 17, 2020, Part 2 of this order has been amended by CMOH Order 32-2020.

This notice from from the Chief Medical Officer of Health provides information on exemptions and clarifications to recently-released health orders related to restrictions on mass gatherings and physical distancing as they apply to licensed residential addiction treatment facilities. Note: This notice references CMOH Orders 05-2020, 06-2020 and 07-2020. Order 06-2020 was rescinded by Order 10-2020; and effective April 28, 2020, residential addiction treatment facilities were removed from Order 10-2020 and are now covered under CMOH Order 13-2020.
