This resource was created to assist EPEA-approved industrial operations with meeting the annual emissions inventory reporting requirements set out in the Alberta Air Monitoring Directive. Although mainly a guidance document, the AEIR Standard is also a reporting standard and does have some mandatory requirements that are required to be met or followed.

The report examines the data collected in submitted annual emissions inventory reports from approved industrial facilities in Alberta. The report also includes summary results from Environment and Parks’ analysis of additional air emission sources not covered by the program.
