The 2015 fire season was extraordinary in terms of wildfire conditions, number of wildfires, number of hectares burned, and expenditures. Following the fire season, a review was completed of the extreme fire season and the government's wildfire management program. This report provides a progress update on the government's actions in response to the recommendations made as a result of the review.
