Getting Started answers the questions that service providers may have when applying for a licence to provide residential addiction treatment services. It describes the Act’s requirements, how to apply for a licence, and what is involved in the inspection and monitoring of service providers who provide residential addiction treatment services in Alberta. It also describes what to expect when a service provider is in non-compliance with the legislation and enforcement is required. The guide also includes tools, such as checklists and templates, to support service providers.
