Alberta Community and Social Services conducts survey research to assess family member and guardian satisfaction with the services that individuals receive directly from the Persons with Developmental Disabilities program and from funded community-based agencies. The research is used to report program performance and inform continuous improvement of the program and service delivery.

Alberta Community and Social Services conducts survey research every two years to assess family members and guardians satisfaction with the services individuals receive directly from the Persons with Developmental Disabilities (PDD) program and from PDD-funded community-based agencies. The research is used to report program performance and inform continuous improvement of the program and service delivery.

In 2012/2013, Alberta Human Services, Persons with Developmental Disabilities Program (PDD program) contracted Vecova Centre for Disability Services and Research (Vecova) to conduct a survey of families/guardians of persons with developmental disabilities on their satisfaction with the services received from PDD program and their funded agencies. These survey responses provide PDD program with feedback regarding program quality, areas of concern, and direction for improvement. These results also provide key performance measures for the program.
