The Specialized Technical Equipment Program (STEP) provides consumer products and assistive technology to Albertans who are blind, partially sighted and deafblind. This equipment is necessary in maintaining one's independence at home and within their community. Eligible equipment is identified in the STEP Approved Product List.

The Bilateral Management Committee (BMC) was established to implement the Agreement. Each annual report highlights the work of the BMC to manage their transboundary waters in a way that protects the ecological integrity of the aquatic ecosystem.

The forest management planning area under consideration is FMA 0900044 allocated to Mercer Peace River Pulp Ltd. The FMP covers Forest Management Unit P21 located entirely within the Lower Peace Land-Use Framework planning region in northern Alberta; it falls within the Dry Mixedwood, Central Mixedwood, Upper Boreal Highlands and Lower Boreal Highlands natural subregions.
