The Alberta Artist in Residence / Arts Ambassador Program seeks to inspire innovation in the arts and to promote a wider understanding and appreciation of the arts and artists in Alberta. The Alberta Community Justice Grant presents a unique opportunity for community-based organizations and interest groups to explore and develop innovative community justice initiatives, with the overarching goal of increasing access to justice. The grant facilitates various initiatives, including capacity building, needs assessments, and the development of essential tools, training resources, and research efforts. These endeavors aim to strengthen existing programs and explore new opportunities for community justice programs in Alberta. Funding of up to $1.2 million will be allocated for the fiscal period of 2023-24, empowering organizations to make meaningful strides in enhancing community justice.
