This document lists technical guidelines prepared by the Technical Advisory Group to provide guidance on practical and technical aspects of the Agricultural Operation Practices Act and its regulations. The Technical Advisory Group is a partnership between Agriculture and Irrigation and the Natural Resources Conservation Board, with representation from the livestock industry. Guidelines are reviewed and updated as needed every five years.

Description

This guideline provides further direction on the treatment of frozen and snow-covered land as referred to in the Standards and Administration Regulation under the Agricultural Operation Practices Act. It also provides methods to determine if land is frozen or snow-covered. These methods will help operators who are considering applying manure to identify whether the land is frozen or snow-covered.
