The changes: suspend the requirement to submit the results of periodic safety audits to obtain or renew approval to operate a railway under the Railway Regulation; suspend the requirement for employees of railway operators to be re-examined to demonstrate their knowledge on required subjects and their hands-on competency of actual job tasks under the Industrial Railway Regulation and Heritage Railway Regulation; and suspend the requirement for railway employees already occupying safety critical positions to undergo the periodic medical fitness for duty assessments required under the Industrial Railway Regulation or Heritage Railway Regulation.

It also provides for Alberta Health to share information collected via the isolation questionnaire with other government departments for education and enforcement purposes in compliance with the requirement to isolate or quarantine, as required by Record of Decision – CMOH Order 05-2020.
