Description

Sets out the code of conduct to be followed by members of a regional plan review panel. Under the Land Stewardship Act, a a person who is directly and adversely affected by a regional plan or an amendment to a regional plan may request a review of the regional plan or amendment. When a request is received, a panel is established to conduct a review and report the results to the Stewardship Minister.

The Plan for Parks is a 10-year blueprint for guiding management of Alberta's parks system to ensure sustainability of the province’s natural landscapes, enhance recreational opportunities, and improve quality of life for Albertans. The Plan is based on extensive consultations with Aboriginal communities, stakeholder organizations, park visitors, elected officials, government staff and others.
