This document is designed to provide assessment materials for specific Grade 6 outcomes in the Punjabi Language and Culture Nine-year Program, Grades 4–5–6. The assessment materials are designed for the beginner level in the context of teaching for communicative competence. Grade 6 learning outcomes from the Punjabi Language and Culture Nine-year Program, Grades 4–5–6 provided the basis for the development of the performance tasks and accompanying evaluation tools in this document. These assessment materials are intended to be closely linked to classroom practices and are aligned to the general and specific learning outcomes for Grade 6.
