This annual dataset provides planned fish stocking information on waterbodies within Alberta during the spring and fall stocking seasons. Please note that fish species, number stocked, and dates may change without notice. Actual fish stocking numbers are reported in the Fish Stocking Report, which is updated weekly or biweekly during spring and fall stocking seasons (see Related tab).

Summaries include a brief description of the monitoring activity, objectives, assigned budget, key outcomes, geographic scope, and associated data and reporting products. Projects approved for implementation in 2018-2019 continue monitoring activities implemented since 2012 through the 2012-2015 Joint Canada-Alberta Implementation Plan for Oil Sands Monitoring (OSM).

Environmental Impact Assessment and associated applications pertaining to the proposed Teck Resources Limited Frontier Oil Sands Mine.The project consists of the construction, operation and reclamation of an oil sands surface mine with a production capacity of about 260,000 barrels per day of bitumen. The project is a truck and shovel mine which includes one open pit, an ore preparation plant, a bitumen processing plant, tailings preparation and management facilities, cogeneration facilities, support utilities, disposal and storage areas, river water intake, a fish habitat compensation lake, bridge, roads, airfield and camp.
