La subvention ethnoculturelle de l’Alberta (Ethnocultural Grant) vise les initiatives et les activités liées au multiculturalisme. Elle soutient les organismes communautaires dans la mise en œuvre d’initiatives qui créent des communautés multiculturelles diversifiées, inclusives et accueillantes.

Alberta's Ethnocultural Grant supports community organizations to implement initiatives that build diverse, inclusive, and welcoming multicultural communities to help ensure that people from diverse ethnocultural backgrounds want to live and work in Alberta. The grant also supports Indigenous communities to celebrate and build on their rich historical heritage. The grant program guidelines and supplementary resources are intended to describe the grant and assist interested parties through the application process.

Description

The Government of Alberta will provide one-time funding assistance to eligible organizations who own or operate a public facility and whose mandate includes a cultural, religious, spiritual, or ceremonial component. Funding will help offset the costs incurred to relaunch gatherings while following Alberta’s public health measures. This would include facility space changes to create no-contact areas, better ventilation, procurement of personal protective equipment (PPE), contracted cleaning services, technology upgrades for online delivery of services and language translation of health related signage.
