This report presents distribution and abundance ratings of invasive plants listed in the regulations of the Alberta Weed Control Act. This information is reviewed and updated annually by municipal weed inspectors to support potential amendments to the regulations of the Alberta Weed Control Act, and to assess the effectiveness of said regulations.

Timber dues and other fees associated with timber dispositions are collected by the province to ensure that Albertans receive fair compensation for the use of publicly-owned forest resources. The timber dues rates applied are based on current market and financial conditions are can be found in Table 2 of the Timber Dues Ministerial Order.
