Significant historic places are legally protected through designation. Owners are supported through grant funding and conservation advice. This document will explain how the following programs work together: designation, historic resource conservation grants and heritage conservation advisory services.

The grant program guidelines and supplementary resources are intended to describe the grant and assist interested parties through the application process.
