Description

In February 2009, Alberta Tourism, Parks and Recreation proposed removing two parcels of land from Sylvan Lake Provincial Park: a portion of the lakebed and shore in front of Chateau Suites and a parcel of land known as "Centennial Park". Feedback was gathered during a 60-day online public comment period that ended April 18, 2009. The province took all comments into consideration before making a decision. The proposals were approved by orders in council O.C. 610/2009 and O.C. 46/2010, March 11, 2010.
