This resource contains the response of Mental Health and Addiction (MHA) to recommendations made by the Office of the Child and Youth Advocate in its report Calling for Change: Investigative Review Consolidated Report. The report makes three recommendations directed to the Ministry of Mental Health and Addiction and several other ministries and one recommendation to MHA alone.

Review panels give you an opportunity to have a physician or nurse practitioner’s opinion about your mental health reviewed by people who are not involved in your care. Each review panel includes a lawyer, a psychiatrist and a member of the public.
