The Government of Alberta initiated this phase of the Land-Use Framework consultation process to assist it in further developing a comprehensive framework. The working groups were tasked with exploring a number of land-use issues pertaining to both private and public lands, and developing a set of goals, strategies, and actions for each of the issues under investigation.
