This manual describes the responsibilities, accountabilities and processes for the planning and delivery of the Health Facilities Capital Program. It is developed collaboratively by Alberta Health, Alberta Infrastructure and Alberta Health Services, in accordance with the priorities outlined in the Memorandum of Understanding between the three parties and under the guidance of a Joint Steering Committee. This manual supersedes the Health Capital Planning Manual, 3rd Edition.

This memorandum of understanding between the government of Alberta and the Alberta Motor Transport Association sets out a framework to facilitate the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by members of the AMTA, to contribute to the 50 per cent reduction target from 1990 levels, by 2020, as set out in Alberta's Climate Change Plan.
