To support a growing visitor economy, Alberta has launched a long-term provincial tourism strategy to share Alberta's story and history with the world. The tourism strategy will help Alberta's visitor economy reach $25 billion in yearly visitor expenditures by 2035. The strategy focuses on five key pillars of leadership and alignment, competitive product, people and careers, expansion of access, and Indigenous tourism to ensure that the provinces visitor economy reaches new heights.

This infographic explains the process for the issuing of commercial timber permits. Commercial timber permits authorize the permit holder to harvest timber on specified Crown land subject to the permit's terms and conditions (such as obtaining an approval for an annual operating plan before any forest operations). Commercial timber permits are generally sold through a competitive bidding process and can be sold to any eligible person or corporation. They can also be sold by tender, by auction or by direct sale.

Alberta Tourism, Parks and Recreation commissioned this examination of the impact of federal fiscal policies on the cost competitiveness of the Canadian aviation industry. To undertake this analysis, InterVISTAS reviewed and synthesised existing research analysis, and conducted a number of additional analyses to update the information, fill in gaps, link policies to impacts, and fully explain the many ways in which Canada's aviation system is taxed.
