Description

The Alberta Made Production Grant (AMPG) is a competitive grant program designed to provide funding to Alberta producers for projects with a minimum eligible Alberta spend of $50,000 and total production budgets less than $499,999 CDN. It offers a 25 per cent grant on all eligible Alberta labour and non-labour expenses to a maximum of $125,000. The AMPG has two intake windows per annum and applications will be assessed according to economic-focused evaluation criteria. The Minister reserves final approval of applications and funding allocation.

Description

The Alberta Project/Script Development grant stream is designed to provide Alberta writers, directors and producers monetary assistance towards the creation of quality marketable and commercial production-ready projects and/or scripts. This grant, under the Alberta Media Fund, supports the growth, sustainability, competitiveness and business attraction of Alberta’s screen-based production industry.

The Alberta Media Fund (AMF) is is funded by the Government of Alberta in order to build a competitive, stable, enduring, internationally recognized screen-based production industry that will contribute to strong communities and enhance the quality of life for Albertans. The fund is designed to assist conventional production practices and encourage new business models and alternative distribution or broadcast delivery options for screen-based audio-visual content creators.
