Establishes the benefit year income thresholds for the Alberta Seniors Benefit (ASB) program and Special Needs Assistance for Seniors (SNA) program. This Regulation is the common responsibility of the Ministry of Seniors, Community and Social Services and the Ministry of Health.

Description

This Act establishes the Alberta Seniors Benefit (ASB) program which provides monthly income supplement to federal income sources including Old Age Security (OAS) and Guaranteed income supplement (GIS). Sections 2, 5 and 6 are the common responsibility of the Minister of Seniors, Community and Social Services and the Minister of Health.
