This guide provides detailed information about capacity assessments under the Adult Guardianship and Trusteeship Act (AGTA). The guide is intended for those health professionals who are designated as capacity assessors (physicians and psychologists and other health professionals designated by the Minister of Alberta Seniors and Community Supports). The Office of the Public Guardian (OPG) can provide further information about capacity assessments.
