Description

This GIS dataset depicts the surficial geology of the NTS map area 84B (point features). The 1:250 000 scale dataset was compiled from four published 1:100 000 scale maps (AGS maps 265, 266, 267 and 267). The aggregated data was generalized by thinning out features where too dense to be represented clearly. The process was overseen by the mapping geologist.The data are created in ArcInfo format and output for public distribution in Arc export (E00) and shapefile formats.
