The Alberta Wage and Salary Survey is undertaken by the Alberta Labour and Immigration to provide current wage rates and skill shortage information on various occupations in Alberta, and in specific industries and economic regions. In 2021, a supplemental survey gathered data on the nonprofit/voluntary sector in Alberta.

These surveys help illustrate the changes occurring in Alberta's nonprofit sector. The 2013 survey has been prepared for Alberta Human Services and is based on an analysis of the information provided by the 136 social service respondents to the survey.
