(Al-Pac) in the 2015 Forest Management Plan (FMP), which was approved by the Alberta government on May 17, 2018. The stewardship report explains each of the 36 targets that Al-Pac has committed to in the FMP. It summarizes Al-Pac’s success at meeting its commitments on a target-by-target basis, and provides rationale for not meeting a specific target.

In July 2017 federal, provincial and territorial ministers of agriculture, endorsed the Canadian Agricultural Partnership. Consultation and engagement sessions were held in winter 2018 to obtain feedback on what the suite of the Partnership-funded programs in Alberta should look like. Consultation during this period included three facilitated sessions in Edmonton, Lethbridge and Grande Prairie with representatives of industry organizations. As well, an online survey was made available to all agriculture stakeholders to get a more broad scope of opinions.
