This report provides a historical account of selected notifiable communicable diseases in Alberta and identifies trends in incidence. It highlights areas where public health measures have succeeded in decreasing disease incidence, while also identifying other diseases that still remain a challenge. The data tables included in the document provide disease incidence and rate per year from 1919 to 2014 as it was collected.
