The Unsolicited Proposal Framework and Guideline is intended to ensure that projects initiated as unsolicited proposals follow similar approach during project development, procurement and implementation across all GOA Ministries. Through the USP framework, private sector organizations are encouraged to come forward with creative financing solutions to help provide the facilities and other infrastructure Albertans need.

The lands included in these areas were designated for transportation/utility corridor uses, such as ring roads, major power lines, pipelines and linear municipal utilities. This policy describes the Transportation/Utility Corridor Program, the types of authorizations issued by the province, and the procedures for obtaining each of these authorizations.
