Description

The regulation provides for consistent and transparent processes to register a conservation easement as a legal agreement between a grantor (e.g., landowner) and a qualified organization (e.g. conservation group). The conservation easement establishes the protection, conservation and enhancement of the environment on an interest in land and allows for land use that is consistent with the purpose of the easement.
