Director's order imposed on Golden Pinnacle Consultants and Yan Chi to cease demanding or collecting, whether directly or indirectly, any fee, reward or compensation for employment agency services from an individual seeking employment, to cease securing or attempting to secure individuals in Alberta for employment or securing or attempting to secure employment in Alberta for individuals without the required Employment Agency Business Licence, to cease securing employment for individuals without having entered into an agreement that meets the requirements of the Employment Agency Business Licensing Regulation, to cease charging a price for goods or services that grossly exceeds the price at which similar goods or services are readily available, and to cease engaging in activities intended to deceive or mislead consumers.
