Record of decision of the Chief Medical Officer of Health, for the purpose of lessening the impact of the public health emergency caused by the prevalence of COVID-19 in Alberta. This decision prohibits attendance at public recreational facilities, private entertainment facilities, bars and nightclubs, and gatherings of more than 50 people. Restrictions to food-serving facilities such as restaurants and coffee shops are also set out. Note: on March 27, 2020, gatherings were further restricted to 15 people, and new restrictions for close contact businesses, dine-in restaurants and non-essential retail services, were included in Order 07-2020.
