This addendum outlines Forest Management Plan-specific ground rules which apply to the areas outlined in forest management agreements 0900044 and 0900045. These rules are in addition to the Alberta Timber Harvest Planning and Operating Ground Rules 2023. Where a rule in the addendum and a rule in the provincial OGR relate to the same subject matter or objective, the rule in the addendum governs. FMP-specific addendums are supplemental to the OGRs and will be negotiated with the applicable FMA holder where additional ground rules are needed to address specific strategies in an FMP or unique physical or non-physical landscape attributes.

The forest management planning area under consideration is FMA 0900045 allocated to Mercer Peace River Pulp Ltd. The FMP covers Forest Management Unit P19 located entirely within the Upper and Lower Peace Land-Use Framework planning regions in northern Alberta; it falls within the Dry Mixedwood, Central Mixedwood, Upper Boreal Highlands and Lower Boreal Highlands natural subregions.

This addendum outlines Forest Management Plan-specific ground rules which apply to area outlined in Forest Management Agreement 0900044 and 0900045. The FMP covers FMU P14, a Crown managed unit located north of Peace River within the Central Mixedwood, Dry Mixedwood and Lower Boreal Highlands natural subregions.
