Description

The Alberta Serious Incident Response Team are investigating an incident in that resulted in a RCMP officer discharging his service pistol. RCMP officers outside of Red Deer were involved in a suspicious vehicle stop involving two vehicles. During that stop, an RCMP officer discharged a firearm towards the second vehicle, which fled the scene. The vehicle was pursued into the City of Red Deer where it was stopped and the two individuals involved in this matter were taken into custody without further incident. No injuries were reported.
