Premier Rachel Notley led a mission to Paris for the United Nations 21st Conference of the Parties on Climate Change (COP21) November 28 - December 2, 2015. The Premier attended the opening ceremony of COP21 alongside Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and other participating Premiers, met with key international stakeholders, delivered remarks at several events, and signed a formal Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with representatives from Air Liquide. Throughout the mission, the Premier demonstrated Alberta’s commitment to taking meaningful action on climate change and transitioning to a low carbon economy.
