Description

The Electronic Distance Measurement (EDM) Calibration Baseline Lengths listings give the pillar-to-pillar (slope distance) baseline length values for the four EDM calibration baselines in Alberta (Lethbridge, Calgary, Edmonton and Grande Prairie). These values are based on precise measurement and adjustment undertaken by Geodetic Survey Division of Geomatics Canada (NRCan). All of the baselines are re-measured and adjusted, and new values published on a five-year basis. Please note that on each listing, there is an adopted date that signifies when the slope distances were formally published by the Surveys Section
