This five-year strategy re-establishes the Government of Alberta’s commitment to work together with community partners and all Albertans to prevent and address elder abuse. It also includes an updated definition of elder abuse to provide clarity to community partners and promote standard data collection and information sharing regarding incidents of elder abuse.
