The Municipal Stimulus Program provides additional capital infrastructure funding to municipalities with the primary objective to sustain and create local jobs, enhance provincial competitiveness and productivity, position communities to participate in future economic growth, and reduce municipal red-tape to promote job-creating private sector investment. This resource contains a listing of accepted projects and includes the location, description and allocated amount for each project.

Description

The Municipal Stimulus Program provides additional capital infrastructure funding to municipalities with the primary objective to sustain and create local jobs, enhance provincial competitiveness and productivity, position communities to participate in future economic growth, and reduce municipal red-tape to promote job-creating private sector investment. These program guidelines include information on the program, funding formula and allocations, program eligibility and conditions, the application, review, and approval processes, and reporting requirements. Also included is a schedule of eligible capital project activities and a schedule of eligible capital project assets.

The AER is approved by an auditor and submitted to Infrastructure Canada.
