The Village of Hussar Viability Plan was developed by a viability review team appointed to review the municipality's governance, finances, infrastructure and services to determine whether changes to the municipality are required for it to remain viable. This document contains the viability review team's findings and presents two possible options for the long-term viability of Hussar.

This document outlines the village’s current finances, governance, services and infrastructure. It also highlights the village’s viability issues including limited non-residential assessment base, the declining population, increasing service costs, a high dependence on government grants, and the reliance on community volunteers to undertake tasks essential to operation of the village.
