Through targeted sessions and an online public survey, the Government of Alberta gathered feedback on home buyer protection policies and programs that were implemented to ensure new homes meet construction safety and quality standards. This report summarizes the what was heard through these engagements.

Provides notification on six new codes that were adopted under the Gas Code Regulation (AR 111/2010) and came into effect on February 1, 2021 under the Safety Codes Act: the Natural Gas and Propane Installation Code; the Propane Storage and Handling Code; the Installation Code for Propane Fuel Systems and Tanks on Highway; the NGV Refuelling Stations Installation Code, the Natural Gas for Vehicles Installation Code; and the Code for the Field Approval of Fuel-Related Components on Appliances and Equipment. Also lists two codes that came into effect under the same regulation as of September 1, 2022: The Compressed Natural Gas Vehicles Installation Code and the Liquefied Natural Gas Vehicle Installation Code.
