This manual was developed to assist returning officers and other election officials in municipalities across Alberta with their election processes and procedures. It can also be accessed by members of the public and potential candidates who are seeking to better understand the election process. Module 3 explains the rules for disclosure of finance and contribution information for candidates seeking election to municipal and school board offices. Module 4 explains the role of the Election Commissioner in local authority elections.
