Each year, municipalities and public libraries have highlighted promising practices including new and unique approaches to issues, streamlined processes for existing practices, and creative community partnerships.

Presents the results of a viablility review of the Village of Halkirk. The Minister of Municipal Affairs initiated the viability review at the request of council in April 2020. The report considers two options for the future of the village: that it remain an incorporated municipality and council implement the recommended actions in this report; or that the municipal corporation of the Village of Halkirk be dissolved and Halkirk becomes a hamlet in the County of Paintearth.
