Description

Presents the findings of an investigation into a workplace fatality in the transportation, communication and utilities sector that occurred in April 2015. A labourer working for a landscaping company was in a trench connecting a new sewer line from the municipality’s drainage system to a residential site under construction. While the labourer was in the trench, the south wall of the trench collapsed trapping and fatally injuring the labourer.
