Description

This is the first evaluation report describing the progress and outcomes of the Alberta Provincial Stroke Strategy. The intent is to help health care providers provide better care and to provide policy makers with the information they need to ensure quality services for Albertans. The report is organized around five themes: educating Albertans about stroke; reducing stroke occurrence and mortality; improving access to best care; improving health care system efficiency; and improving satisfaction with care.
