Description
The purpose of the HIV/AIDS Case Report Manual is to: describe the roles and responsibilities of public health reporters (regional public health professionals); describe the roles and responsibilities of Alberta Health and Wellness in the systematic collection, analysis, interpretation, and dissemination of data to appropriate stakeholders; and provide guidance for the completion of the HIV/AIDS Case Report Form to maintain consistency in gathering information and interpretation of the fields in the form. The information gathered through the case report form will enable Alberta Health and Wellness to respond and advise regional health authorities on HIV and AIDS, to capture the information needed to report to Albertans, and to report nationally to the Public Health Agency of Canada.
