Description

The Alberta Roundtable on Violence In and Around Licensed Premises was convened to address this issue. The roundtable was staged in two parts. Participants met in Edmonton from November 22–23, 2005, and reconvened in Calgary on March 31, 2006. The discussions at the roundtable were exploratory in nature. Participants offered ideas and suggestions based on their own experiences and perceptions. They offered recommendations with the proviso that further research and consultation are needed to identify and validate best practices.
