The purpose of this Toolkit is three-fold: A. UNDERSTANDING - To aid communities in understanding the basics of renewable energy and the types of projects. B. COMMUNITY READINESS - To aid communities in being ready to consider renewable energy projects before specifi c projects have been presented. C. PROJECT SCREENING - To aid communities in the fi rst level of screening or evaluation of projects, when such projects are presented to them.
