Description

Environmental Impact Assessment and associated applications pertaining to the proposed MEG Energy Corp. May River project. The project would target bitumen resources in the McMurray Formation using steam assisted gravity drainage (SAGD) technology. It would be developed over three phases with a total planned capacity of about 26 000 m3 per day (164,000 bbl/d). The project would consist of three central processing facilities, natural-gas-fired cogeneration at Phases 1 and 3, associated field facilities, and related infrastructure.
